Shipper posts a load
Pickup, delivery, equipment, weight and date — a two-minute wizard. Post the rate you want to pay, or let the platform suggest one. There is no listing fee, and nothing is charged when you post.
We auto-match a verified carrier
The load is offered only to carriers with active FMCSA authority who are online, whose equipment fits, whose home base is within reach of the pickup, and whose minimum rate per mile is close to yours. It goes to the best-fitting carriers at once — we text, push and email them, and they have 30 minutes to accept in one tap, first come first served at your rate — auto-matched, not auctioned to thousands of strangers. Every carrier is also asked for a certificate of insurance and an ID + selfie check.
Stripe holds the amount on the card
When the carrier accepts, Stripe places an authorization hold on the shipper's card for the agreed rate — not invoiced after the fact. For a pickup booked more than two days ahead, the hold is placed two days before pickup. It is a card hold, not an escrow: the money stays with the card issuer until it is captured, and an authorization expires after about seven days. The rate the shipper posted is the rate the shipper pays, and the carrier keeps 95% of it; nothing changes mid-haul.
Deliver, then everyone settles
The charge is captured when the shipper confirms delivery, or automatically 24 hours after delivery is marked. The carrier's 95% goes to their Stripe account and typically reaches their bank in about two business days, and GetHaulDirect keeps a flat 5% platform fee. No factoring discount, no quick-pay surcharge, no monthly subscription.

No — it's a private freight marketplace. On a public load board the same load fans out to thousands of carriers and the bid races to the bottom. On GetHaulDirect a load is offered only to carriers whose equipment, home base and minimum rate fit, and the posted rate is locked at post.
+What does the 5% cover?
Everything: matching, contracting, payment processing and support. There is no separate listing fee, per-truck fee, premium tier or monthly subscription. The 5% applies only to loads that actually book and deliver.
+How fast do carriers get paid?
Stripe Connect lands 95% of the posted rate in the carrier's bank account about two business days after the shipper's charge goes through — on delivery confirmation, or 24 hours after delivery is marked — no factoring 3–5% discount and no quick-pay surcharge.
