See where your load is.
Real-time GPS tracking comes built into every shipment on GetHaulDirect. The driver app pushes a position update every 30 seconds while the load is moving — shippers see the live location, the route ahead, and an ETA routed for a loaded truck.
Tracking is tied to your account so we can show you only the loads you posted. If you have a tracking link from a delivered shipment, sign in and follow it; if you're a carrier looking to update status, the same dashboard shows your active shipments and the next required action.
What gets tracked
- ◇Live position — driver app pushes lat/lng every 30 seconds while the shipment is in transit. Shipper sees a moving pin on a real US map.
- ◇ETA — recomputed on every position ping: the remaining distance is routed for a loaded truck, with its height, width and weight applied, so the estimate follows roads a tractor can legally take rather than a straight line.
- ◇Status timeline — visible state transitions: assigned → driving to pickup → loading → in transit → unloading → checkout → delivered. Each transition is timestamped.
- ◇POD upload — at delivery, the carrier uploads the bill of lading photo and the shipment is marked delivered. The shipper receives the document, and the Stripe hold is released by that delivery confirmation — on the shipper's click, or automatically 24 hours later.
- ◇Direct messaging — text the carrier through the platform, no phone-tag, all messages timestamped on the shipment thread.
Tracking depends on the carrier's app being foregrounded during transit — when a driver loses cell signal in the mountains, position updates pause and resume on the next successful uplink. The platform marks the gap visibly so you know whether the silence is "lost signal" vs "stopped moving".
